This month's meeting features guest speaker is Tammy Berlman, Monroe County's Planner/GIS Specialist. Tammy Behrman will speak on ‘Shoring’ up protection of Lake Monroe through county planning
Tammy Behrman has lived in Monroe County for 27 years. She attended Indiana University both as an undergraduate studying Biology and a graduate for a Master’s of Science in Environmental Science, water resource concentration from SPEA. Ms. Behrman interned with the Indiana Clean Lakes Program for two summers, has been an interpretive naturalist for DNR, and worked 14 years with Eco Logic LLC. For the last five years, she has been employed by the Monroe County Planning Department and is accredited under the American Institute of Certified Planners. When not working she is involved with her sons’ Boy Scout Troop 110 that meets at Lake Lemon, enjoys the outdoors in a variety of capacities, and loves contra dancing.
Thursday, July 26, at the Monroe County Public Library, Room 1C in Bloomington, IN from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
