Community Forum on Lake Monroe – Virtual

ZOOM LINK

Join Friends of Lake Monroe and the League of Women Voters to learn about the newly completed Lake Monroe Watershed Management Plan and how you can help protect and preserve water quality.  The management plan identifies the top threats to water quality in Lake Monroe and outlines a 20-year action plan to address those threats.  Public input is needed to help prioritize project implementation and mobilize our community to take action.

Three public meetings will be held, one in Bloomington, one in Nashville, and one virtual meeting over Zoom.  The first will be held on Tuesday May 24th from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. in the St. Thomas Lutheran Church (3800 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401).  The second will be held on Thursday June 9th from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. at the Brown County Public Library (205 Locust Ln, Nashville, IN 47448).  The third will be held on Wednesday June 15th from 6:45-8:30 p.m. via Zoom using the following link: https://iu.zoom.us/j/85407873786?pwd=YmdSaUJtOXBGS0pnVFV0T0hiR2R2dz09

All three meetings will cover the same information and provide an opportunity for public input.
