Excited to kayak on Lake Monroe? Join Friends of Lake Monroe and David Rupp of IndiGo Birding for a free kayak trip on Wednesday August 20th! David Rupp will guide the tour and provide the use of boats, paddles, and PFDs for those who need them. No experience necessary. Participants should wear proper paddling attire and bring their own snacks and hydration. (Dry bags suggested for non-waterproof gear). Trip will leave from Pine Grove State Recreation Area (7699 E Pine Grove Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401) about 15 minutes south of Bloomington.
